Green Construction Assistance

O’Brien & Company’s roots are in helping contractors recycle and manage stormwater. In the early ‘90s our staff were diving in construction waste dumpsters and peering down storm drains.  Green construction has come a long way since then.

Today, we are helping the leading green contractors integrate construction techniques, materials, and methods to reduce the impacts of buildings on climate change, energy and water resources, and materials cycles. We are training contractors in the language of LEED and providing tools and consulting for the management of LEED documentation. For contractors looking beyond construction practice, to sustainability on a company level, we provide corporate sustainability programs that consider the uniqueness of the construction industry.

Just doing your first green building or LEED project and need some help? Want to provide in-house training to get your whole team up to speed? We’ve provided LEED contractor assistance or worked on design build projects for most of the major contractors in the region and conducted trainings at many of their offices. Our trainings have been featured in local conferences like BuildEx and by trade associations like the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington.
