LEED Study Sessions
Passing the LEED exam requires a working knowledge of LEED and green building as well as the ability to apply that knowledge to specific projects. These exam prep courses provide a review of LEED project administration, the credits and points in each LEED category, and how they are applied on real projects. Homework problems challenge participants to develop a working understanding of the LEED system. Exercises during each section will allow participants to practice applying LEED in the way they will be tested on the accreditation exam.
Experienced LEED Accredited Professionals run each course using a participatory approach for adult learners. All participants will need to study from the LEED Reference Guide and other primary references outside of the study sessions to prepare for and pass the examination.
LEED Green Associate Study Session
This full-day workshop focuses on providing the background information needed to pass the GA exam. This course is appropriate for people who may not be taking a specialization exam but would like a basic knowledge of green building principles and general LEED processes and requirements. Participants will learn through a variety of interactive exercises, lecture, discussion and quizzes. This course is designed for up to 40 people.
Specialization Exam Study Sessions
These courses are each offered in one 8-hour session. A typical course includes presentations on the LEED Exam structure, content, and test taking tips; quizzes and practice exams; flashcard game; small group exercises to practically apply LEED credits and more. Sessions are designed for up to 20 people.
