LEED®
for Homes Provider serving Washington, Hawaii and Alaska
Providers are local organizations that have experience and expertise in
their region's market. Providers have been selected by the U.S. Green
Building Council (USGBC) to work with builders on the local level to support
those builders in the construction of LEED certified homes. Providers
work with local builders in the following capacities:
o Helping builders register their projects with LEED for Homes.
o Providing technical assistance on complying with the Rating System
o Performing the preliminary review of a project's LEED documentation.
o Submitting documentation to USGBC for certification.
o Completing the required onsite green inspections and coordinating HERS
ratings for home energy performance.
o Training, coordinating, and overseeing green raters and builder support
staff.
