Westlake Terry
This two building office complex is part of
Vulcan’s 60-acre redevelopment in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood.
Finished ahead of schedule, under budget and fully leased, Westlake/Terry is a
sustainable, eco-friendly facility that received LEED Gold
certification under LEED Core and Shell. The building performance monitoring system optimizes energy by
30 percent and drought-tolerant plants reduce irrigating by 50 percent.
Building amenities include restaurants, retail, showers and lockers, bike
storage and a connection to the city’s new streetcar line.
O'Brien & Company provided sustainable building technical assistance and LEED Project Management. The project received the Sustainable Development of the Year award from the NAIOP Washington State Chapter in 2007.
