Bio
Andrea brings over eight years of professional experience in project and program management, research, and writing in the environmental and health advocacy fields. At O’Brien & Company, she assists, coordinates, and facilitates a variety of projects related to sustainability and green building programs, planning and policies, and she manages product and curriculum development for the Sustainable Development Training Institute (SDTI). Her project experience includes drafting facility operations and maintenance guidelines for King County and working with the Children’s Hospital Citizens Advisory Committee to incorporate sustainability elements into their Major Institution Master Plan. She also developed content and a 250-question certification exam for a 30-hour online course for commercial green brokers. She is also the Assistant Program Director for the National Sustainable Building Advisor Program, a 9-month certification course for professionals.Favorite green building
