Bio
Andrea brings over nine years of professional experience in project and program management, research, writing, and event planning in the environmental and health advocacy fields. At O’Brien & Company, she coordinates a variety of projects related to sustainability and green building programs, planning and policies, and she manages product and curriculum development projects. Her project experience includes supporting the King County GreenTools team in developing a customizable municipal green building program development tool, available online as part of the renowned GreenTools ToolKit2, and supporting the planning and event logistics for the 3rd annual GreenTools Government Confluence. Her municipality work has also included drafting facility operations and maintenance guidelines for King County and supporting the planning and facilitation of the King County Suburban Cities Sustainability Roundtables. Andrea has developed several programs and policies consistent with the LEED-EB requirements for green cleaning and integrated pest management for K-12 schools, public and private universities, and municipal facilities. She also developed content and a 250-question certification exam for a 30-hour online course for commercial green brokers.Favorite green building
